Location Information (Optional)

If you grant permission, Layover+ may access your location:

• To show nearby airport features and amenities
• To improve airport navigation functionality

Location data is used only when relevant to app functionality, is not used for advertising, and is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

Technical Information

We may collect limited technical data, including device type and operating system, app version, and crash logs and diagnostics. This information is used only to operate, maintain, and improve Layover+.

2. Analytics

Layover+ uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand how features are used and to improve performance. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized where possible and is not used for advertising or user profiling.

3. Advertising

Layover+ does not use your data for advertising. We do not display third-party ads or share your information with advertising networks.

4. Payments

Layover+ does not process payments directly. All subscriptions, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's policies. Layover+ does not have access to your full payment details and does not store payment card information.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate Layover+
• Personalize airport content and user experience
• Maintain app performance and reliability
• Provide customer support
• Ensure security and prevent abuse

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share personal information except in the following limited situations:

By downloading, accessing, or using Layover+ (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the App. Your use of the App constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Layover+.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the App in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age required to form a binding agreement, you may only use Layover+ with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Description of the Service

Layover+ provides airport discovery tools, navigation assistance, and travel-related information designed to help users navigate airports and explore amenities. Layover+ relies on third-party data sources, including airlines, airports, mapping providers, and other services. Layover+ does not operate airports, airlines, or navigation systems. The App is provided for informational purposes only.

4. Informational Use Only

Layover+ is intended solely as a convenience tool. It is not a substitute for:

• Official airport signage
• Airline communications
• Airport staff instructions

You are responsible for verifying all critical travel information directly with airlines, airports, or official sources.

5. Third-Party Data Disclaimer

Layover+ depends on third-party data that may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Flight information
• Gate assignments
• Airport maps
• Walking directions
• Estimated times
• Lounge or amenity availability

Layover+ does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information.

6. Airport Amenities and Availability

Airport amenities, including restaurants, shops, lounges, and services, may change, close, relocate, or become unavailable at any time without notice. Layover+ does not guarantee that any listed amenity or service will be available.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Layover+ require a paid subscription. All payments, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's policies. Layover+ does not process payments or store payment information.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Scrape, copy, or resell App content
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
• Attempt to bypass security measures

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, features, functionality, trademarks, and software within Layover+ are owned by Layover+ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Right to Modify or Terminate

Layover+ may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice. Layover+ may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. Layover+ does not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access, accuracy of information, error-free operation, or availability of features. Use of the App is at your own risk.

The Services may provide you with location data for basic purposes only and are not intended to be relied upon in situations where precise location information is needed or where erroneous, inaccurate or incomplete location data may lead to death, personal injury, property or environmental damage.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layover+ and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Missed flights or connections
• Incorrect navigation
• Inaccurate travel information
• Delays or disruptions
• Financial loss or inconvenience

Layover+'s total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the 12 months prior to the claim. Your sole remedy is to stop using the App.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Layover+ from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, or reliance on App information.

14. Force Majeure

Layover+ will not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, service provider failures, natural disasters, or governmental actions.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and applicable Canadian laws.

16. Changes to the Terms

Layover+ may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
